3 months ago, I chose Lenovo Smart Display 8 over Google Home Hub due to its lack of camera, and today I switched to the 10 inch model from the 8 inch model I've used for the last 3 months because there was a huge discount in a recent promotion on slickdeals. For your information, I paid $90 for the 10 inch model in total.
Although I have to admit that I suffered from a series of hardware defections of the speaker that stopped working suddenly, I had to buy this again since this thing just fulfills my life with richness and I was very satisfied with the overall experience when it was working fine.
Indeed, I would say this is one of the best devices I've ever used so far from all types of Voice Asssistants, and it comes with a quality mic, speaker, and a camera that are all built-in and ready for seamless Google Duo experience. I really love video-calling my family in Korea using this smart display by saying, "Hey google, video call my Mom"
ITing's score after actual use of 3 months
- Usability: 5 out of 5 (seamless to use, works just as intended, great speaker)
- Durability: 2 out of 5 (2 units went broken on speaker out of 4 smart displays)
- Apperance: 4 out of 5 (looks great in my kitchen)
- Likeness to buy again: 5 out of 5
- Overall value in dollars: $150
